Many companies are nowadays trying to recruit data scientists with marketing experience. Japanese companies, in particular, are struggling to understand the needs of their customers. In order to satisfy the demand for data-driven marketing, the GCI Data Science lecture series (The University of Tokyo) combines latest trends and technologies from both marketing and big data analysis to teach students how to accumulate and analyze customer data effectively.
The lecture will be held from April 17 until July 31, every Monday from 18:45 to 20:30 on Hongo campus. Remote participation from Komaba campus is possible.
